Vishal is a dentist with a special interest in implants. Having qualified in 2010, Vishal provides both implant placement and restoration, with a particular interest in complex cases and comprehensive treatment planning. His clinical experience includes procedures such as bone grafting, sinus augmentation and full-mouth implant rehabilitation. He currently places Osstem implants and has experience working with a range of implant systems.

Vishal also provides assessment, restoration and management of implants placed by other clinicians, including the management of implant complications where required. He has experience dealing with failing implants and their removal where appropriate, helping to provide continuity of care for patients with more complex implant needs.

He also has experience with Cone Beam CT (CBCT) imaging and undertakes and reports small-volume CBCT scans within his scope of practice. He regularly updates his training in CBCT reporting at Levels 1 and 2 to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Vishal takes a meticulous and evidence-based approach to patient care. He particularly enjoys complex treatment planning and problem-solving and works closely with colleagues when a multidisciplinary approach may benefit patients. He continues to develop his skills through ongoing professional education and supports colleagues through mentoring in implant dentistry.
