Lucie has worked in dentistry since 1997 and has focused on orthodontics since 2003. She spent 17 years within the Orthodontic Department at Peterborough hospitals, gaining experience in both orthodontic nursing and orthodontic therapy. During this time, she trained under the supervision of consultant orthodontists, including Lead Consultant Richard Cousley.
Lucie completed her Orthodontic Therapy training at the Leeds Dental Institute, University of Leeds, and was awarded her diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012.
As an Orthodontic Therapist, Lucie carries out a range of routine orthodontic procedures under the prescription of a supervising clinician. Her role includes supporting patients throughout their treatment and contributing to the day‑to‑day delivery of orthodontic care within the team. She aims to provide a professional and reassuring experience for patients at each stage of their treatment.
