Lucie has worked in Dentistry since 1997 and solely in Orthodontics since 2003. She was based in the Orthodontic department at the Peterborough hospitals from 2003 to 2020. It was here that Lucie gained extensive experience within the Maxillofacial field, initially as an orthodontic nurse and then as an orthodontic therapist. She trained for this specialised role under the clinical supervision of several consultant orthodontists, with Richard Cousley as the lead consultant.
Lucie completed her Orthodontic Therapy studies at the Leeds Dental Institute (University of Leeds) and gained her diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2012.
Lucie's role as an orthodontic therapist is to ensure that every patient's specialised orthodontic care progresses as smoothly and effectively as possible. She undertakes routine 'hands-on' orthodontic procedures, under Dr Cousley's prescription and we're pleased to say that she does an excellent job!
